How does REV work?

Members download the REV app and sign-up using their information. During sign-up, drivers will select the vehicle they are interested in subscribing to. Once the application is accepted, the subscriber will coordinate with the digital concierge to pick up their vehicle from our HQ in Reading!

What is included in a REV subscription?

Every subscription includes rights to a vehicle and insurance coverage. We also take care of all maintenance and repairs so you only need to focus on driving! 

Any unused miles carry over with you month to month. Any additional miles over are charged depending on the plan and vehicle you select. 

How does insurance work?

All vehicles provided by REV are fully insured on a fleet insurance policy held by REV. All approved drivers are covered by the insurance policy.

 

Coverage highlights:

$1,000 deductible

$300,000 liability coverage (combined single limit)

$300,000 uninsured motorist (combined)

$2,000 medical payments to offset any out of pocket or deductible costs

How long can I keep a vehicle?

As long as you want! Your subscription is month-to-month, so there are no restrictions on how long or how short you can keep your vehicle. 

How new are the vehicles?

We have a wide variety of vehicles. Some of the more economical vehicles are a few years older and we also have some vehicles that are like new! Feel free to check the pricing page for examples!

How do I join REV?

Download our app here and hit “Sign up”. Follow the instructions to create an account. You will need to provide a credit card, select a vehicle and provide a picture of your driver’s license. We will verify your information and check your driving history. We may need to speak with you during that process. In most cases, we can approve an application within one business day. Then we will contact you to get you started and schedule your ride!

Is REV in my area?

Today, REV is live in Reading, PA. If you’re outside of our service area, sign up for news and updates and we will let you know when we arrive in your city. Within Pennsylvania, we service a 50 mile radius from our Headquarters in Reading!

Who is eligible?

Anyone 21 or over with a valid license and clean driving record.

What is the REV activation fee?

The activation fee is required for all new REV memberships and will vary by vehicle. The fee is non-refundable and charged when your first delivery is scheduled.

How well equipped are the vehicles?

The packages and trim will be dependent on the vehicle selected. You are always welcome to call our sales line and we can help you figure out which vehicle is right for you!

Are pets allowed in vehicles?

We do allow pets in the vehicles, but they must be transported in a crate. It is better for the car and safer for your furry friend!

What happens if my vehicle needs repair or maintenance?

Our goal is that you will never have to worry about maintenance or repair issues. If something unforeseen occurs, use the REV app to notify us and our concierge team will take care of the rest!

What happens if I get into an accident?

First, make sure that everyone is safe. Move your vehicle to a safe place, exchange information with the other parties and notify the police. Once the situation is stabilized call us. We will handle everything with respect to the vehicle involved in the incident.

Where can I find the insurance card?

View a digital version of your insurance card under Your current ride on the home screen of your app. Hard copies of the insurance card can also be found in the glovebox.

When is payment due?

A valid credit card is required during sign up. Your first payment will be charged when we confirm delivery of your first vehicle. Subsequent payments will be charged on a monthly basis, in advance. Gas charges will occur when you exit a vehicle. Mileage overage fees will be charged at the conclusion of each month.

What is the minimum commitment to REV?

REV is a monthly subscription service. Pay for the first 31 days and give it a try. If you like it, your subscription will renew automatically monthly after the first period. If you ever want to cancel, just let us know and we will end your subscription after your current month has expired.

Is there a mileage limit per month?

Each plan includes 1,500 monthly miles, plus bonus rollover miles that add up over time if you don't drive all 1,500!

Unused miles carry over with you month to month. Any additional miles over your limit cost $.25/mile. 

Can anyone else drive the vehicle?

Yes, eligible drivers may be registered as Secondary Drivers and added to the member’s account.

Are members responsible for their REV car?

Yes, we expect our members to take care of REV vehicles as if they owned them. Please drive responsibly, keep your vehicle clean, and let us know of any minor dings or spills via the app.

What is the condition of REV vehicles?

REV is committed to delivering vehicles that are in excellent condition. To that end, we use technology to ensure that the vehicles are properly maintained and driven responsibly.

What data does REV collect?

We want to ensure the best service and safety for all of our members. To do so, we keep track of various data points to record vehicle and driver history. For more information on terms of use, please reference the REV Privacy Policy.
